Can maps or routes be sent to others?

Yes, ProMiles XF allows users to e-mail routes, maps, breakouts, and other info directly from the application. Of course you'll need e-mail and an internet connection.

My computer is getting old. Will ProMiles XF run on it?

ProMiles XF will run on most systems, Windows NT, ME, 2000, and XP. Chances are it will run on Win98 (second edition) if the system is kept up to date with Service Packs.

What is Fuel Management?

Fuel Management is a sophisticated program that can save your company thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars annually. It has the ability to compare fuel prices based on; chains, specific fuel locations, cost plus prices, discount prices, rack prices, 30 60 90 day averages, and many other features.

Why do I need to pay extra for the Fuel Tax Program?

The Fuel Tax Reporting Program is now a "modular" feature of ProMiles XF. Some clients prefer to have a "stand-alone" Fuel Tax Program so we've given the customer the options of buying one or both programs.

I have an older version of ProMiles. Do I have to pay full price to move up to ProMiles XF?

We offer "upgrade" pricing for existing clients. Simply E-mail sales@promilescanada.com

Does truck routing in ProMiles® XF include all of Canada?

Yes, over 30,000 cities and towns! If you can't find it in ProMiles® XF you can't find it anywhere. We also cover the USA and Mexico.

Can I try ProMiles XF before I buy it?

Yes, you can prove to yourself how beneficial the program will be to your operation. Go to Free Live Demo and 'lets get started'!

Why is your software so inexpensive?

We like to say our software is twice the product but only half the price of our competition! ProMiles is the most affordable cost-effective program of this type available. Each user will experience a unique payback period depending on their type of business, usage, number of trucks, and distance traveled. Check out the ProMiles ROI (return on investment) under Benefits. Just between you and me, we don't have 17 vice presidents driving Beemers so we pass the savings onto our customers!

What about ‘usage fees’ or ‘monthly charges’?

We have none. Once you purchase ProMiles XF it's yours forever. Of course we do charge for upgrades to new products and we do charge a small amount for quarterly fuel tax updates to cover the cost of obtaining, compiling, and distributing the new tax rates.

What is Fuel Purchase Optimization?

It’s a method by which ProMiles XF can save you a bundle on fuel purchases! We find you the least expensive fuel available by comparing after tax fuel prices and computing how much fuel you’ll need to get to the next fuel stop.

Your software seems too costly for a one-person operation, is there a product for an Owner Operator or Driver?

Yes, our Owner Operator or Driver Version is called TruckMiles and is very affordable. TruckMiles will also integrate with most GPS tracking device so you'll never be lost again!

Does ProMiles XF show me low bridges?

All ProMiles routing is designed specifically for trucks! Our default settings define roads usable by 53' trailers and with at least 13'6" bridge clearance.

I’m a novice on computers. Can I get technical help and how much will it cost?

You're not alone, many of our clients are new to the world of computers. Tech support is available and it's free!

What does XF mean?

XF stands for eXtended Features. It's a Trademark of PSDC (ProMiles Software Development Corporation). Simply put, we have improved and enhanced the ProMiles Mileage Guide to such an extent that it's no longer just a Miler, it's a whole new software package with more trucking specific benefits and features than you'd think possible.

Can I connect ProMiles to my Dispatch Software?

Yes, ProMiles is integrated to most of the more popular Dispatch Programs across North America. We have SDK (Software Developer Kits) for integration to "in-house" software. Contact our office for the SDK and check our Reseller section for a partial listing of Software Companies we are already integrated to.

Is ProMiles software recognized by the Government?

All Provincial Governments, most USA jurisdictions, and some Canadian and USA Federal Government Agencies use ProMiles software as an ?Audit tool? for various ?mileage compliant? regulatory programs.
